At just 13 weeks, Isaiah had his own personality and all his fingers and toes.
In Hubby's hand.
Isaiah's open blue eye was striking. We could see every tiny little line in the iris (tons of little lines, just like yours and mine). To capture those lines would have required a macro lens, which we did not have. If you look at the above picture of Isaiah in Hubby's hand, you can see how extremely small those lines in the iris must have been. This photo was taken while Isaiah was under water.
His fat little belly was cute.
Taken under water, to show some of the details better.
Micah, 15 weeks. He was born as though he were lying on his side, peacefully sleeping. Both his hands were under the side of his head, one hand on top the other, just like someone might do to make a "pillow." I was amazed at this, and tried to recapture the same position in the photos.
His fingers were incredibly detailed. They had all the knuckle lines.
If you look closely you can see his fingers.
Micah with the icon "Theotokos the Helper in Childbirth."
Micah's foot. His toes were detailed just like the fingers. You can just barely make out the knuckle lines in this photo. Like with Isaiah, we would have needed a macro lens to capture these details clearly. If you look at the photo below with Micah in our hands, you can get a sense for how extremely small these details were.
Here he is upside down. The cute thing on his belly is the umbilical cord.
Peacefully sleeping. He had a beautiful little mouth.

Revelation 21:8

I’m sorry for your losses. I two have had several (4) miscarriages. I would have loved to have seen my babies and I am truly amazed by your pictures. Absolutely breathtaking! Thank you for sharing your beautiful babies.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I’m sure you have gotten visitors who have left hateful comments. To those people, you don’t know the grief of losing a baby nor do you care.
Thank you for letting me know that you were amazed by Micah's and Isaiah's photos. I shared them for women like you, who were unable to see their babies, and also for others to see what life in the womb is truly like. I am sorry for the loss of your sweet babies.
